To Schiphol airport it is only a 22-25 minutes drive by car, but Baambrugge also has its own bus stop from where it will take you about one hour by bus and train to Schiphol airport (via Bijlmer Arena or Abcoude). If you need to go to Utrecht Central Station by bus it will take you about 50 to 60 minutes.

From Baambrugge there are beautiful cycling routes to Vinkeveen, for example, where you can relax at the Vinkeveense Plassen. 
It is also only a 10min cycle to the vibrant Abcoude via the lovely countryside.
